Robert L. Ardell September 3, 1937 - November 22, 2021

   Robert L. Ardell, 84, of Williamsport passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at UPMC Williamsport.  Robert and his wife the former Carrie M. Antosh were married on May 23, 1964 and celebrated 57 years together.  He was born on September 3, 1937 in Williamsport and was the son of Clarence and Sara Sowers Ardell.
   He was a 1956 graduate of Williamsport High School.  Robert served his country in the U.S. Army spending three and a half years in Germany.  He worked for Divine Providence Hospital and Susquehanna Health as a printer.  He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and a life member of the Keystone League.  Robert enjoyed fishing and watching Penn State football and wrestling.
   In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark Ardell of Harrisburg, PA; two daughters, Christine (Mary McCleery) Ardell of Hummelstown, PA, Colleen (Mark) Keiser of Williamsport; one brother, Charles Ardell of South Williamsport; one sister, Sara Wise, of Phoenix City, AL; two grandchildren; one great grandchild.  He was predeceased by a daughter Karen Lynn Ardell; a brother, Clarence Ardell, Jr.; four sisters, Katherine Calvert, Trudy Chadderon, Jane Stewart and Nancy Spooner.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 702 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Reverend David Bechtel officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the church portico from 8:30 until 10:00 a.m.

    My heart goes out to you. So sorry to learn of Bob’s passing. I will forever remember the good times we had when Tom and I spent time with you and Bob. My prayers go out to the entire family.
