Mildred “Mickey” B. Huss April 7, 1922 - August 7, 2019

Mildred B.  Huss, 97, of South Williamsport passed away on August 7,
2019 at Rose View.  Her husband, Eugene R. Huss, passed away in 1985.

Mickey was born on April 7, 1922 in Mill Hall and was the daughter of
Christian and Minnie Poorman Hanna Harman.

She was a 1941 graduate of Lock Haven High School.  Mickey retired
from Ray-O-Vac in 1981 following 35 years of service.  She was a member
of South Williamsport United Methodist Church, Eastern Starr,
Williamsport Chapter 321, AARP, ABC Ladies bowling league for 45 years.
Mickey volunteered with Meals on Wheels.  She was an avid baker, enjoyed
canning and freezing her produce from her garden.  Mickey was an avid
Penn State football fan and never missed a game when she held season
tickets for eighteen years.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
She was predeceased by her six brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Fairview Cemetery, Millheim, PA.

    To Mickey’s family and friends. I remember Mickey and Gene from when I was a child visiting my Aunt Florence, Uncle Ed, and cousin Sissy Goodfellow who lived across the street from them in South Williamsport, PA. and extend my condolences to all of you.

    This was my dear Aunt that I lost touch with several years ago. She was my Dad’s (Ken) youngest sister.I have fond memories of my Aunt Mildred as a small child. My deepest sympathy
