Linda K. McCarthy, 74, of Heritage Springs Memory Care, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Linda was preceded in death by her husband John McCarthy in 1976.
She was born on March 3, 1948, in Niagara Falls, NY and was the daughter of William and Kathryn Fulmer Sargent.
Linda was a graduate of Niagara Wheatfield High School in Sanborn, NY. For many years she worked for Dr. Funk as a nurse’s aid. Linda enjoyed knitting, but most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons, Kevin (Heather) McCarthy, Jack (Mindy) McCarthy, Tim (Laura) Drake all of Montoursville; six grandchildren, Calen, John, Logan, Jordan, Jillian and Derek; one brother, William (Toni) Sargent of Grand Island, NY; one sister Deborah (Robin) Kenney of Lewiston, NY
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2022, in Wildwood Cemetery, 91 Wildwood Blvd, Williamsport with Pastor Ron Savits officiating.
