Leona R. Yorks, 91, of Lock Haven, passed away on April 20th, at Heritage Springs in Muncy. Her husband, Richard “Porky” C. Yorks, passed away in 2021.
Leona was born on December 21, 1930, in Lock Haven and was the daughter of Floyd and Freda Myers Swartz.
She was a 1948 graduate of Lock Haven School. She retired from Piper in 1985 after 20 years. Following retirement she enjoyed time with her family.
Leona was a life member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Lock Haven.
She is survived by two sons, David (Carol) Yorks of Mill Hall and Craig (Kim) Yorks of Lake George, NY; two daughters, Paula (Charles) Wait of Myrtle Beach, SC and Karen (John) Cebulka of Lock Haven; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
