Jeanne M. Gair, 61, of Williamsport passed away on Tuesday, March 24,
2020 at the Gatehouse surrounded by her loving family. She and her
husband, John N. Gair, Jr. were married on February 28, 1982 and
celebrated 38 years of marriage.
She was born on June 25, 1958 in Williamsport and was the daughter of
Joseph and Eva Krimm Bausinger.
Jeanne was a 1976 graduate of South Williamsport High School. She
worked at various retail stores as a clerk but her greatest
accomplishment in life was raising her family. She was a member of the
Seventh Day Adventist Church. Jeanne enjoyed many things such as
shopping, doing crafts, baking, and being out enjoying the sun. She was
an avid animal lover and rescued many animals- always making room for
just one more. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family
and her grandchildren who fondly referred to her as Nana Banana. Jeanne
had a genuine heart a true beauty and showed love in all she did. Her
infectious smile and quick witt will be treasured always.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by two sons,
Michael J. (Megan) Long of Watsontown and Gregory J. (Ricki) Long of
Nisbet; two daughters, Melanie J. (Matthew) McQuillen of Williamsport
and Angela C. (Eric) Reeder of Williamsport; one brother, Kenneth
Younkin of Oregon; one sister, Joanne (Rex) Stull of Ohio; eleven
grandchildren, Kailey, Brent, Lucas, Katelyn, Kaden, Kinsley, Landon,
Carmela, Rylee, Peyton, and Oliva. She was predeceased by two sisters,
Janet McCormick and Justine Perotto.
Jeanne’s family would like to thank the staff at the Gatehouse and at Susquehanna Hospice for the excellent and loving care they gave to their wife, mother and grandmother.
