Bonnie J. Phillips, 76, of McElhatten, formally of Cogan Station, passed away suddenly on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 at UPMC Williamsport. She was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth Kontz in 1972 and her second husband Kenneth Phillips Sr. in 2011.
She was born on February 5, 1944 in Cogan Station and was the daughter of Walter and Betty Leffler Fink.
Bonnie was a graduate of Williamsport High School and was a member of Trout Run United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She was an avid supporter for animal rights and cherished her pets as family members. Her home was the center for family gatherings where she enjoyed preparing meals using fresh ingredients from her garden.
She is survived by a son Jeff (Lisa) Kontz of Jersey Shore and a daughter Lisa (Andrew) Park of Treasure Island, FL; a brother William Fink of Linden; a sister Darlene Cuozzo of Loyalsock; a stepdaughter Vivian Kontz of Reading PA; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren and her lifelong best friend Mary Miele of Williamsport. She was predeceased by a stepson Kenneth Phillips, Jr.
